HollyFriends was born from a simple observation: thousands of young people stay at the same hotels, campsites, and hostels every summer — without ever crossing paths. We built the app to change that.
Our mission
We believe the best encounters of your life can happen in a hotel corridor, around a campsite pool, or in a hostel lounge. Those unexpected moments — an impromptu card game, a group outing organised in two messages — are often the most memorable of a trip. You just need to know who's there.
HollyFriends indexes accommodations across all of Europe and creates an age-filtered chat group for each one. Arrive, check in in 30 seconds, and instantly know who is staying at the same time as you. No algorithm, no complex profile — just your accommodation and dates, and the app does the rest. Conversations exist only during your stay; when you leave, everything disappears.
Our target: 13-25 year olds, whether they're traveling with their parents, with friends, or alone for the first time. We designed HollyFriends to make the very first step — breaking the ice — as easy as possible. Because the real challenge isn't wanting to meet people, it's knowing they exist and finding a way to approach them.
